SCHOOL CURRICULUM AND TEACHING CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES – DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE PRACTICES FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING APPROACHES

Initial meeting DISCO

On the 29th of march as part of the project “School curriculum and teaching controversial issues – Developing effective practices for teaching and learning approaches”, the Institute for Human Rights organized the initial meeting with school representatives and teams. The members of the school teams come from the 4 pilot schools in which the project will be implemented,  SUGS “Georgi Dimitrov” – Skopje, SUGS “Rade Jovchevski – Korchagin” – Skopje, OOU “Vera Ciriviri – Trena” – Skopje and OOU “Joakim Krchoski” – Volkovo. The main aim of the initial meeting is to inform the teams about the project and the timeline of the implementation of the activities, as well as an in-depth explanation of the trainings and mentoring programme.

The Project “School curriculum and teaching controversial issues – Developing effective practices for teaching and learning approaches” is a part of the Joint Programme “Democratic and Inclusive School Culture in Operation (DISCO) supported by  the European Union and the Council of Europe and is realized in collaboration with the Ministry of education and science and the Bureau for the development of the education.
